Who we are
Kriy is a wardrobe and styling app for professional stylists and their clients. For your account and the app itself, Kriy is the data controller. For the details a stylist enters about a client (name, sizes, notes, wardrobe photos) the stylist is the controller and Kriy processes that data on their behalf under the Terms. What we collect
Account: email address, role (stylist or client), language. Client records entered by a stylist: name, contact email, sizes, style notes and preferences. Wardrobe content: photos of garments and the tags derived from them, looks, lookbooks, shopping suggestions, reactions and wear history. Requests: messages and the photos attached to them. Devices: a push-notification token per installed app. Location: when a client opens Today with location allowed, coordinates rounded to about one kilometre are sent to fetch the weather; they are not stored beyond that day's pick. Stylists: the state of the store subscription mirrored from the app store (never card details).
Why we use it
To run the service you or your stylist signed up for (contract): storing and showing wardrobes, composing and delivering lookbooks, exchanging requests, choosing a look of the day. Photos are sent to an AI model once, during cataloguing, to produce tags; later AI features work on tags only, never on photos. Push notifications tell you about new lookbooks and replies. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Data lives on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt): database, sign-in and photo storage. Other processors: Anthropic (photo tagging during cataloguing; not used to train models; inference may run outside the EU), Expo (delivery of push notifications), RevenueCat and Apple / Google (subscription status for stylists), Open-Meteo (weather for rounded coordinates, no identity), Fly.io (EU, application servers). Crash reporting (Sentry) may be added before launch; the list in this policy will be updated first.
How long we keep it
For as long as the account exists. Data exports are kept for 24 hours. When a stylist's subscription lapses, their data is kept for 12 months and then deleted with 30 days' notice. Deleting an account removes its data at once, including photos; only an anonymised placeholder remains so that other people's records stay consistent.
Your rights
You can export a copy of your data and delete your account from the app at any time (Me → Privacy). You can correct your details in the app or ask your stylist to. For anything else - objection, restriction, a question about a stylist's use of your data - write to hello@kriy.app. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
This website
kriy.app sets no cookies and runs no advertising or fingerprinting trackers. If you apply as a founding stylist, we store the email address and details you submit to contact you about the programme and delete them on request. Server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) are kept by our hosting provider for security for a short period.
Children
Kriy is for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect.
