For independent personal stylists
You charged €400 for the closet audit. Then you worked four more hours for free.
Sorting photos. Building the PDF in Canva. Digging through Drive at 7 am because she asked what to wear. Kriy catalogues a wardrobe in 30 minutes, delivers it under your name, and keeps you in your client's pocket - without keeping you at your laptop.
- 14-day free trial
- Your clients use it free
- Data stays in the EU
Sound familiar?
The session ends at six. The work doesn't.
The evening after the audit
You photographed 140 pieces today. Tonight you are cropping, renaming and sorting them into folders. She is already asleep. You are still working, and nobody is paying for this hour.
7:12 am
“What do I wear to the board meeting?” You are in bed scrolling Google Drive for the photo of her navy blazer. You send three options from memory. That is your “unlimited support”, and it is unbilled.
Delivery day
Twelve outfits, three weeks of work, and it arrives as a PDF attachment. It looks like every other stylist's PDF. Your name is on page one, in 11 pt.
Month three
The lookbook is stale. She bought new things, forgot half the combinations and went back to the same four outfits. She doesn't renew - not because you weren't good, but because nothing kept you in her Tuesday morning.
The silence
You never find out which outfits she actually wore. So you guess. And you build the next lookbook on that guess.
Five apps, zero system
Camera roll, Drive, Canva, Notion, WhatsApp. One client's wardrobe lives in five places. When she asks about “the green skirt”, you are not sure which one.
What it actually costs you
Admin is the most expensive thing you do. You just don't invoice it.
- 3-4 h
- to catalogue 100 items by hand
- ~2 h
- to build one lookbook in Canva or a PDF
- €400-700
- of your own time per new client, at your rate
- 90 days
- until a PDF lookbook is out of date
That is one full working day per new client, paid at €0 an hour. Every month. For as long as you keep using a PDF.
Based on published stylist rates and our timing of the manual workflow. Your numbers may hurt more.
The problem isn't your work. It's the container.
A PDF can't answer at 7 am. A Drive folder can't tell you what she wore. A Canva template can't carry your brand into her morning. Kriy is the container built for how you actually work - on your phone, at the fitting, between clients.
How Kriy closes each one
Four hours become thirty minutes. A PDF becomes an app with your name on it.
The evening after the audit
Catalogue in 30 minutes, not four hours
Bulk-upload the photos from the fitting. Kriy removes the backgrounds and tags category, colour, season, pattern and formality. You confirm, correct, move on. Fifty items in under half an hour.
Delivery day
Lookbooks that look like you, not like Canva
Your notes on every look, published straight to her phone. Versioned, so there is never a “final_v3_REAL.pdf”. Your logo and accent colour on every plan.
Building the next lookbook
Looks from her wardrobe, in minutes
Drag pieces onto a canvas, or type the brief - “five looks for a work trip to Berlin” - and get proposals built only from what she already owns. You curate. Nothing ships without you.
7:12 am
Answer the 7 am message with a look, not a paragraph
She asks inside the app. You reply with a look built from her wardrobe - her wardrobe is attached to every request, so nothing to dig for. Two minutes, coffee still hot.
Month three
Stay in her pocket every morning
Look of the day, rotated from what you published, aware of the weather. The reason she opens your work daily - and the reason a monthly retainer is an easy conversation.
The silence
Know what she wore
Reactions and “wore it” come back to you. The next lookbook is built on what she actually wears, not on a guess.
What your client gets
A free app with her wardrobe already inside. She never photographs a single item.
She arrives through your invite, so there is nothing to set up and nobody to convince. Cold-start is the reason consumer wardrobe apps die by item twenty. Your client skips it - because you did the work, fast.
- Her wardrobe, catalogued and filterable
- Your lookbooks, with your notes
- A look for today, from what you published
- Add a new purchase: photo → tagged → you are notified
- Ask you, and get a look back
Today vs. Kriy
Same client. Same fee. Different evening.
| Today | With Kriy | |
|---|---|---|
| Cataloguing 100 items | 3-4 hours, after the session | About 30 minutes, at the fitting |
| The lookbook | PDF from Canva, generic | In-app, versioned, with your notes |
| “What do I wear?” | Drive, memory, a paragraph in WhatsApp | A look from her wardrobe, in the app |
| Month three | Stale PDF, no renewal | Daily look, retainer conversation |
| What she wore | You guess | You see it |
| Where it lives | Five apps | One |
The business you could be running
Sessions end. Retainers don't.
Most stylists sell sessions because that is all a PDF can deliver. A wardrobe that lives in an app, a look every morning and a request thread are what a retainer looks like from the client's side. Stylists who run retainers charge €150-400 per client per month - and that only works when she uses your work daily.
Ten clients on a €150 retainer is €1,500 a month you are not invoicing today.

Objections, answered
The questions stylists ask before they say yes.
Will the AI replace my judgement?
No. It removes backgrounds, tags items and proposes combinations from the client's own wardrobe. You confirm every tag and curate every look. Nothing reaches a client without you. Your client pays you for judgement; Kriy makes the tedious part fast.
Do my clients have to pay or set anything up?
No. The client app is free and invite-only. She taps your link, accepts, and her wardrobe is already there. There is no public sign-up - Kriy is not a marketplace and never sits between you and your client.
I already have 200 photos per client in Drive. Do I start over?
Upload them in bulk. Kriy processes them in the background and you confirm the tags in one pass. Existing clients become your first catalogued wardrobes.
Is this another tool I have to manage?
It replaces five: camera roll, Drive, Canva, Notion and the WhatsApp thread. One place for each client's wardrobe, looks, lookbooks and requests, on the phone you already carry into fittings.
Where is my clients' data? They will ask.
In the EU (Frankfurt). Photos go to an AI model once, for tagging, and are never used to train it. Clients can export or delete everything from the app; so can you. Built for GDPR from day one, not retrofitted.
Do I need a laptop?
No. Kriy is built for the phone - at the fitting, in the store, between clients. Cataloguing, the look canvas and publishing all happen on iOS or Android.
